How to Apply for a Donation

Requests for donations are accepted throughout the year. Those that fit within the areas of interest above are reviewed at least on a quarterly basis.

• January to March
• April to June
• July to September
• October to December

Reviews will take place mid-month during the last month in each quarter (March, June, September, December). Those that best meet the criteria are selected for payment by the end of that month, or in the appropriate month of future years if part of a multi-year commitment.

The majority of successful proposals will be submitted by organizations already supported by MEDRAD. MEDRAD will, however, accept unsolicited proposals for new programs that fall within the above areas of interest.

To Apply

To apply for support, an organization should provide a prepared package/proposal that follows the guidelines below.

All requests require:

• Funding amount requested
• Proposed use of the funds
• Brief description of the specific project or program, including goals and objectives
• Description of how/if MEDRAD would be recognized for its support

Additional Information for larger, more complex requests

• Description of specific activities to meet the goals and objectives
• Description of the plan to measure and evaluate the results
• Other sources of funds applicable to the proposal
• Detailed budget for the project or program
• List of the board of directors and officers and their affiliations

If your organization is selected to receive funding, you will be notified as soon as possible after the session at which your proposal is reviewed. Unfortunately, due to the heavy volume of requests, we cannot guarantee that unsolicited or unfunded proposals will receive notification of decisions. Proposals that are not awarded a gift are not carried over into the next consideration period.
