Internships & Co-ops
MEDRAD offers summer intern and year-round co-op positions for college students with majors ranging from Finance and Engineering to Supply Chain and Computer Science. MBAs with concentrations such as Marketing and Finance are also recruited for summer intern positions. These positions are posted on our website as they become available. MEDRAD maintains a high standard in reviewing the many college student applicants for these opportunities. Our focus is on students who are well-rounded and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or better. This way, MEDRAD ensures that our co-op and intern selections bring value to the company for the short-term, and have the potential to add value as full-time employees upon graduation.
The intern and co-op programs provide students with the opportunity to gain experience in their major, attend Q&A sessions with management including President and CEO John Friel, and give a final presentation to senior management. We work hard at making this a win-win situation for MEDRAD and the students!
"My summer internship at MEDRAD helped to give me a complete picture of what engineering research is like in industry. There were many opportunities to take part in product development at numerous different stages. I got to complete and present background research on new possible areas of interest for MEDRAD, work on a patent, take part in brainstorming sessions for new products and numerous other activities."
"MEDRAD is one of the best companies that I could ask to work for, and it's all because of culture of the company being employee-oriented and having an effective organizational system allowing good communication. As a co-op, MEDRAD provides me with relevant work with a supportive team and have expectations of me on a high caliber level that will make me into a much better entry-level engineer after graduation."
"As an intern at MEDRAD, I was given an effective introduction into the corporate world that has provided a wide array of new tools to further both my educational and career development. My supervisors, as well as many other helpful employees, were genuinely interested in providing significant tasks that expanded my skill set while advancing valuable company objectives."
