Jeff Owoc oversees MEDRAD's global planning and distribution, procurement, manufacturing and manufacturing engineering. He joined MEDRAD in 1996 as a Program Manager in Vascular Injector New Product Development, leading his team to a record fastest time-to-market.
He moved to Operations in 1999 where he co-led the startup of the Heilman Center manufacturing facility, greatly improved operating efficiency in MEDRAD's Sterile Disposables operation and led the Process Management section during MEDRAD's award-winning Malcolm Baldrige journey.
In addition to his expertise in technical design and daily operations, Jeff serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Vincent Medical, located in China. Jeff is responsible for overseeing MEDRAD’s operations in China, and he is heavily involved in strategic business planning and international issues. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Catalyst Connection.
Prior to joining MEDRAD, Jeff managed multiple new product programs at Contraves, Inc., developing state-of-the-art electro-optical systems for the United States military. Jeff also spent eight years as a systems engineer at General Dynamics Corporation's Fort Worth Division, where he led the avionics effort of the F-16 Advanced Fighter Integration program. Jeff's team received the 1987 Theodore von Karman award for outstanding achievement in science and engineering.
Jeff has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. Jeff attained his Project Management professional certificate in 1996 from the Project Management Institute and attended the MEDRAD Management Development Program at Carnegie Mellon University.
