How AngioJet AVX removes blood clots

How It Works
Using our proprietary Cross-Stream® technology, high-pressure saline jets travel backwards at half the speed of sound to create a low-pressure zone causing a vacuum effect.  The thrombus is drawn into the catheter where it is fragmented by the jets and evacuated from the body.

Safety First
The AngioJet System has been used in over 450,000 patients and is the only thrombectomy device indicated for use in native arteries as well as synthetic grafts. The AVX catheter has no moving parts to contact the vessel wall.

Power To Perform
The AVX catheter is designed to remove thrombus in diameters up to 12mm.

The Need for Speed
Your patients need to get dialysis, fast. Your treatment for their AV conduit needs to be the same. The AngioJet AVX catheter removes the clot in minutes sending the patient off for treatment.

Average AngioJet activation time to remove clot = less than 2 minutes.
