following PV case study with images achieved utilizing a six-phase Spectris
Solaris injection protocol. This case study was provided Dr. Vittoric

| Protocol Explanation: | Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy uses all 6 programmable phases of Spectris Solaris to completely image the PVs without any re-arming or re-starting of the injector. Imaging begins with the lower legs (feet and ankles) using an injector protocol of contrast followed by a saline flush phase. The third phase is a HOLD to allow for table movement to the upper two stations (pelvis, thighs). When the table is in position, the fourth phase is continued with a bolus of contrast, followed by the fifth phase, a slower flow rate contrast “drip” to extend the flow of contrast as long as possible during leg vessel imaging. Finally, a sixth phase saline flush is injected to end the procedure. |
