PRES™ Pressure-Rated Extension Set

MEDRAD's PRES Pressure-Rated Extension Set is designed to reduce rupture risk or leak risk of disposable extension sets during high pressure CT imaging procedures. It is the only CT extension set compatible with power injection and specifically approved for the Stellant® CT Injection System. PRES can help you adhere to FDA recommendations about pressure compatibility.

Increased Patient Safety and Throughput

Easy-to-use and flexible, PRES allows you to place IV catheters outside the scan room. PRES also:

• Enables adherence to FDA recommendation on use of high pressure tolerant extension sets for CT imaging
• Allows multiple sterile accesses to patient's IV catheter with a swabbable valve
• Connects easily to patient's IV catheter with rotating luer
• Can be identified easily as pressure-rated, MEDRAD-approved with an orange stripe

MEDRAD PRES has a positive displacement valve to minimize blood reflux in catheter. It has been tested for microbial ingress according to FDA regulations
