Q: What is MEDRAD's Part Return Policy?

A: MEDRAD Service Part Return Policy is as follows:
If for any reason the parts must be returned to MEDRAD a Return Authorization is necessary. Please note: manuals and electronic components (i.e., transistors, capacitors, IC chips) are not returnable.

For your Return Authorization, follow the steps below:

  1. Contact MEDRAD's Customer Support Department at 1-800-633-7237 for Return Authorization(R/A).
  2. Return complete parts.
  3. Securely wrap parts and return in original packaging. Clearly mark Return Authorization number on the outside of the package.
  4. Insure the part(s) for their value to protect from loss or damage in shipping.
  5. Ship package to MEDRAD Service at the address noted below:
    MEDRAD INC.
    ATTN: SERVICE DEPT
    625 ALPHA DRIVE
    PITTSBURGH PA 15238-2878
  6. Full credit less a 15% restocking fee will be extended provided the parts are received in satisfactory condition within 30 days from date of shipment.

Q: What is MEDRAD's Part Exchange Program?

A: MEDRAD Service Exchange Return Policy is as follows:
MEDRAD exchange part program provides customers the opportunity to replace intricate electronic subassemblies in an economical manner. To participate in the exchange program the customer simply needs to return the part they are removing from their MEDRAD equipment according to the MEDRAD Service Part Exchange Return Policy noted below:

  1. Return the part removed from your MEDRAD equipment within ten (10) days of shipment. Please note: defective parts received after ten (10) days will be invoiced to you at list price.
  2. Affix the address label enclosed with your replacement part on your return shipment. Also, include a copy of your MEDRAD packing slip in the return box.
  3. Ship return parts to:
    MEDRAD INC.
    ATTN: SERVICE DEPT
    625 ALPHA DRIVE
    PITTSBURGH PA 15238-2878
  4. If you have any question, contact MEDRAD Customer Support department at 1-800-633-7237.

Q: Does MEDRAD have an exchange program for coils?

A: MEDRAD Coil Repair department maintains a pool of inventory for coil exchanges. In addition, the Coil Repair department performs professional repairs on a variety of coils. Coils shipped to MEDRAD for repairs are returned to you in excellent condition within ten (10) days of receipt into our state-of-the-art coil repair facility.
